Hongchang’s development began in 2008, when China’s carbon fiber industry was still in its early stages. At that time, the Carbon Business Division of Hunan Haixin New Materials Co., Ltd. was established, focusing on carbon fiber research and development.
In 2014, as the industry entered a phase of rapid expansion, Anhui Hongchang New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded. The company became one of China’s early manufacturers engaged in the research, development, and production of rayon-based carbon fiber felt. It also established China’s first continuous production line for carbon fiber graphite felt.
In 2022, the company completed its shareholding reform and officially became Anhui Hongchang New Materials Co., Ltd. Its production capacity ranked among the highest in China’s domestic industry. From 2021 to 2023, Hongchang achieved three consecutive years of doubled production capacity, sales, and profit. Its felt product sales also ranked first in its domestic market segment.
In 2024, the company submitted its listing application, marking a new stage of high-quality development.

After more than ten years of focused development, Hongchang has earned several major honors, including recognition as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a National “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” Little Giant Enterprise.
The company has also passed six major system certifications and established two wholly owned subsidiaries: Anhui Hongyi New Materials Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Hongchang New Materials Co., Ltd.

To date, the company has obtained 13 authorized invention patents and 24 utility model patents. It has also participated in the formulation of nine national standards, led the development of two group standards, and contributed to three green design product evaluation standards.

The company’s annual production capacity can reach 8,000 tons of thermal-field insulation materials, along with 60,000 quartz crucibles and quartz guide tubes.
